Here’s an African illustration with a different sense of scale! This is my colour study of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, with the landscape fading away into the distance and the monumental abstract shape of the mountain on the horizon. Because of it’s size the cloudscapes lie at the centre of the painting, a fun composition for my to play with. The original artwork is 39 x 29 cm, painted with acrylic and ink on paper.
