Railay lies between the Thai city of Krabi and Ao Nang. It is accessible only by boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. Here's my colour study of the turquoise Andaman sea viewed from the beach, with boats moored in front of it's striking vertical cliff forms. Painted with acrylic and ink, 39 x 29 cm on paper.
